See The Rat That Causes Lassa Fever
The name of the rat that Possess and spread the virus that causes lassa fever is called multimammate rat( because it has many Tips like all these local street dogs after delivery). While the botanical name is mastomys natalensis.

There is also an upsurge of the disease everywhere. So we should all practice hand washing hygiene. Also all apple lovers should wash them with salt and warm water before refrigerating them to eat. Our wives should avoid testing of dry garri by chewing them for starch in the market. All garri soakers should let go for now.

The problem is that most of our garri sellers in the market buy their garri from bush markets. These garri are often fried half dry and are subsequently dried on polythene sheets on the tarred roads or compounds in the villages. These rat dive in at will, to feed their hungry bellies and in the process defecate and urinate on the garri, which dry up with it. If used for Eba, the virus may die because of the hot water used. But if soaked, the virus is directly ushered in. Please no one should joke with this precaution, except you process your cassava yourself.

NEWS HEADLINE (GAPOSA)
THE FORMER SPEAKER (SUG) REGRET OVER THE INCOMPETENCE OF HIS SUCCESSOR
PROGRESS IN STRUGGLE OVER JAMB REGULALIZATION
COM 111 SECOND BATCH EXAMINATION DATE ANNOUNCE
News in details.
The former speaker of the students' representative council (SRC) regret over the incompetence of his successor.
The former speaker of students’ union government (SUG) led under the leadership of comrade Awolesi Mathew pka Bozon speak his mind in an expression of total disappointment on the present administration under the leadership of comrade Tosin.
"Although we spend 92days in office we were able to achieved and lay down a solid foundation for the new students’ representative." Standing for justice was the most difficult thing for me in office, but I will radar die for a good name than been praise and popular for a moment and yet destroyed my personality forever. It wasn’t easy for me been against my friends, but all the same justice must prevail either in peaceful way or otherwise, justice I stand for all my life.
The former speaker blames the current administration of the students’ representative under the leadership of comrade Tosin, he said “how do you expect the body to function properly when the head is sick?” he blame the speaker for ineffectiveness of the students’ executive for not discharging their duties
"Mr Speaker may be you don’t know/understand the power and authority of the position confined in you" You are the mouth of the students. You have the power to remove any member of the executive in office no matter his /her position etc. Am so disappointed for your silence which has encourage the laziness, relaxation and comfortability of all the executive members which they should be standing on their toes by now. "I fear the future of the gaposite under your administration and leadership, let me ask, Are you for the students or for the executive or for the management? What is your fear Mr Speaker? Is not in my habit to praise my person, but to give all glory to God for his enablement and grace, I was able to fight into existence of many things, such as ATM machine, students’ union constitution etc but am so disappointed that uptil now no student has any idea of what right/benefit he/she has as a student in gaposa, no one can actually give reasonable answer why the ATM machine is not functioning. Mr speaker am speechless and lost of words over your incompetence.
I urge all goposite to stand and defend their right, no management without the students, no students’ union or representative without the students. Freedom are not meant for those who wish or desire it, but for those who pull their strength out of their comfort zone, in breaking the chains of bondage put upon them by their oppressor.
Progress in struggle over jamb regulalization

PRESS RELEASE (GAPOSA)
STUDENTS OF GATEWAY (ICT) POLYTECHNIC SAAPADE SPEAK ON THE INCOMPETENCE OF THEIR REPRESENTATIVE (SUG)
ESTATE MANAGEMENT AND ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT ARE TO RESUME FULL LECTURE IN AYEIPE CAMPUS THIS WEEK
STUDENTS CALL ON THE SCHOOL PRESS FOR HELP!
STUDENTS’ OF GATEWAY (ICT) POLYTECHNIC SAAPADE REGRET ON THE INCOMPETENCE OF THEIR REPRESENTATIVE (SUG)
It has been four (4) month now seen the incumbent president took over power and authority from the former president, in person of comrade Adeyeri Adedamola pka Zola which took place in the school auditorium on 9th of September 2015. Before this period it was reported to our correspondence that the current school press GIR organized a moment of interaction with each aspirant (the president candidate) and during the interaction they both (the president candidate) told and also pleaded to their follow students to vote them in, promising to impart positively to the lives of the students and to the school as a whole. Hmmm it is easy said then accomplished.
From the few words we were able to gather from the students’ of gaposa. It was reported to our hearing that the students do not believe that they have anything called students’ representative, and “if such a group do exist, we are sorry it without our knowledge” This statement made by one of the students really trouble us that our correspondence have to conduct several interview and interaction with both new and old students‘of gaposa, in order to verified this allegation made against the students’ union. Amazing to our hearing from the correspondence, no difference from what we were told earlier, the students are complaining bitterly in regret of having a representative who is serving his own personal, department and forum interest only. Here are few words from the interviewee students
First interviewee
Am not interested for the down fall of any persons government, likewise I will not support injustice. Seen the incumbent president took over, things are not getting any better, things have really turn from bad to worse. The management now makes and takes decision towards students’ affair without consideration, no unity or one voice among students, higher division among departments, students and lecturer. Am not in habit of condemning others, but Mr. President God will help you, but first help yourself.
Second interviewee
Hmmmmmm it is painful to have a leader without vision, it a pit will lack a man who knows not how to achieve and accomplished his task without blocking the road for others. Mr. President we are not happy. Am an ex student whom you have deprived from the words of pride of my great citadel of learning. I was told that your regime has spoiled and closed many doors and opportunity to our students! The students are no longer welcome in Rector’s office which was not so, I also had which I also confirm, that the management has place a limitation in students’ bus. Why are you causing Zola pain instead of joy? Why are you making it a regrettable one for Accountancy department, the voice forum and gaposite? Sit up, I wish am still a current student (anywhere I reserve my comment)
Third interviewee
Na waooooo!!! Mr presidor, na so power dey sweet? Power fit make person wa dey say yes to been tell you common shut up. Am really ashamed of myself, my powerful president comrade Asani Lateef Ishola, I was told the current Nabams president in person of comrade Onifade Oscar lost his position at the state level because you’re a president! Zola doesn’t have words again before those who bow at his time of power in office. I also hear that the press unit in GIR has been silence for a while because of you? I was also told that the president of GIR have been traduce several times to watch his steps if he eventually want to graduate with good grade in gaposa, all this in your regime and government!!! Na waoooo na you be the first person wey go become SUG president? God dey ooooooooooo
Estate management and architecture students resume fully in Ayipe campus
“We are not happy moving down to Ayeipe campus from the main campus” said the students
The movement of these two departments from the main campus to Ayeipe campus came as a surprise to the students, mostly the new students who just paid for their apartment on the main campus. Base on the report to our correspondence from the students, it was reported to our correspondence that the movement of their department is not actually their pain or regret, but the respond of the students’ president concerning the issue. “When the decision came to our hearing, we made complain to the management, explaining our displeasure but to no avails. We walk up to the students’ president and reported the issue to him, but we were amaze to his respond “did you guys voted for me?” Then we all reply, whatever, you’re now the students’ president and it’s your duties to fight and protect the students”. We have accepted our faith, but the truth is this, students’ union does not exist in ggaposa
Students call on the school press for help
The students’ of gaposa both new and old are calling the school current press GIR to speak their voice and stop been silent. “We know that you guys are passing a great persecution at this point in time, we were told how your president/CEO was traducing over his result and person, because of his stands for justice. Mr. President (GIR) “we have heard a lot about you, your integrity, boldness, and stand, despise all hatred and jealously for speaking and fighting for justice. God will bless you; we want you to know that we appreciate you and your team, more grace to your elbow”. It was reported to our correspondence that many meetings has be held in order to stop your team in operation, but God will disappoint them all and put them to shame. FEAR NOT GOD IS WITH YOU
Please president of GIR we want the video of the manifesto and handing over ceremony to be on air, we were told it has been edited! Please help us ask the president about his four (4) point’s major agenda? Because we still dey pay 100, and 70 if not more on bike, which he promise it will be reduce to 50naira for the students at his regime. ATM in school yet to start operation seen last year, abeg tell him no be say we hate am, but we need change, our years no plenty for this school, make we self follow other student in another school talk say we self be student. Brilliant is not intelligent! Tell the president we believe, he can make it happened (the change expected) na beg we they beg ooooo!!!
This is brought to you from the table of gaposa voice, keep calm and relax as we bring you more info. Thanks. Love you goposite

Students staying in school when the school is officially on a break is not something new or unusual.
Most students i guess, prefer to stay in school whereas some don’t joke with their holidays o, even if it is for 30 minutes, they would go home.
SO today, i present to you: Types of Students you would See in School During Holiday;
The Book Worm: Ogbeni o! This ones takes everything too serious like say tomorrow no day.
They prefer staying in the hostel and jacking everything jackable before others resume
One thing with this set of fellow is that they never come out all through those periods till school resumes. Am Afraid of this kind of people o.
The Jonsers: This set use the holiday period to jonse up and down the school.
They make research and do things they never did while school was on. One thing with them is they understand that when school resumes, no jonsing and hence use the few days/week to flex around
The Cooker: Choi. you see them washing pot as if they are leaving with their parents while in the hostel.
Seems this set cook morning, afternoon, night and mid night. The next morning, you see them with different sizes of pot and you begin to ask yourself if you are a student at all.
The Prayer Warriors: Choi. Staying with them is hell you must be forced to pray o or Else…
The Computer Addicts: Hala! This ones would be on their computer as if the world is ending tomorrow. Most times, i imagine all they do there. This consist of the bloggers, Web developers,Graphic Designers,Gamers etc.
The Movie Freak: Smart People. They don’t mind watching 15 movies daily till school resumes.
Jackometers: Actually, this is different from the book worm. The Former stays in his room without letting you know whats up while this set of people keep carrying big big books up and down looking for who to intimidate and yes, they are very good in intimidating students because once you see them you would be like “Jeez, I have not started Jacking anything o”.
The Crashers: This set can crash for life.Their routine is very simple: Wake, Eat,Crash and the loop continues I fear this set

Let’s make something clear, “students think”. In fact, students think a lot about money, drinks, parties, opposite s*x and so on but most importantly students think about their lives after school, which is good.
The bad thing however is that what they think about life after school are majorly unrealistic thoughts like, “hey, I am finally in 100 level studying economics in Kogi State University, and I’ll graduate in 4 years’ time, then go for service and probably do some masters and PhD thingy then get a job and make money”.
That’s so unrealistic that its makes WWE wrestling more real. Its plain garbage thought you need to start getting out of your head. This life isn’t Hollywood, and when you’re born into one hell of a country like Nigeria you need to wise up and start thinking with your “brain”.
If you can take your time and look outside your window to see millions of graduates roaming about the streets you’ll probably understand that it’s not as easy as you think it is, if it was that easy your parents and your friends parents and all parents in Nigeria will be multi billionaires and you may not even need to go to school.
Life isn’t easy, and Nigeria is making life even harder for Nigerians. The labour market is so choked up, it will take extra power for an angel to pass through. There is hardship in every corner of the country and the earlier you realize these things, the better for you.
So instead partying and smiling all around school why don’t you sit yourself down and not only think logically but also plan logically. These topics might get you onto the right path:
– First and foremost you need to realize you only have one life to live, every circumstance you find yourself will most definitely come once, you don’t go to primary school twice, well, except you’re going there the second time to teach or something. My point is, in every situation you find yourself you have to try hard in making the best outta that situation, if you don’t succeed, it’s okay, at least you tried.
– Ask yourself questions, like why are there few rich people in the country, what can I do to get there, what are my potentials, what are my weaknesses. You have tons of questions you should start asking yourself.
– You need to start tasking yourself. Are you too young to make money?? I mean, there are lots of unemployed graduates out there who still depend on their parents. I know you don’t want to belong in that category when you’re done with school. You need to know what you have to do to make that money so you do not have to depend on anybody.
God has given you a talent, why don’t you discover it and start using it to make money now. There are tons of things you can do as an undergraduate that can cough out money for you, you just need to think and plan on how to strike a balance between your academics and what you’re doing.
It’s not how petty the job is or how little you’re earning. It’s about knowing for a fact that you can do something to improve your situation.
A lot of OND, HND, BSc, PhD holders are out there (those certs are common these days), some even have all those certs with them at the moment but have nothing to show for it because they failed to realize that school is not about learning on how to work for a boss, it’s also about how to develop yourself to being your own boss.
– You need to stop thinking about your future and know that the future you are thinking of is “NOW”. You have to start thinking and planning logically from now on.
– You need to start encouraging yourself to do things that’ll make you big. Forget where you are now, it doesn’t matter, its where you’re going to be when it’s all said and done that matters.
Forget the fact that you stay in Dagana or you stay in one shady place around KSU, and your fellow mates stay in billionaires lodge or exquisite lodge (it’s probably not their money anyways), it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you are formulating a plan that will change your situation when four years is done and dusted.
– All in all you have to think of doing only what’s necessary to get that money, not something people like or what they don’t like, not what brings shame to you or doesn’t bring shame to you, you don’t have to care what people think about you, ’cause at the end of it all it’s you and only you that matters.
Nobody remembers the disgusting or not disgusting things Dangote has done in the past, because it was necessary to get him to where he is now, “the richest man in Africa”.
